The Mustang and Pear Tree were also part of the old dairy that has been beautifully restored without damaging the original structure. Sam and I wanted this historic old dairy (one of the first in Fredericksburg) to look exactly like it did at the turn of the century. This building even has the original sliding wooden door on the porch that was opened up after the milking to let the dairy cows back out into the pasture. The Mustang Bunkhouse at the Chuckwagon Inn B&B is a charming little cottage.
A herd of galloping mustangs was hand-carved by a local artist on the gorgeous king-size bed and the ultra-plush pillow-top mattress is so comfortable that one of our guests threatened to take it home.
The Mustang Bunkhouse has a newly revamped bathroom and is now complete with an oversized whirlpool tub and shower combination that will slyly beckon you after a long day's shopping in Fredericksburg or other locations in the Texas Hill Country.
The Mustang Bunkhouse also features a completely outfitted kitchenette with all the essentials for you to enjoy.
