The Summit Trail is a challenging but rewarding track that offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the top of Enchanted Rock itself. For a less strenuous experience, the Loop Trail encircles the base of the rock, providing a tour of the park's diverse ecosystems. 

Rock climbing is another popular activity, with routes for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Climbers are reminded to adhere to park rules to preserve the natural integrity of the rock formations.

Stargazing: Far from city lights, Enchanted Rock offers some of the best stargazing in Texas. The park is a designated International Dark Sky Park, where on a clear night, visitors can gaze at the Milky Way, distant planets, and hundreds of constellations. Be sure to bring a telescope to get the most of this stellar experience.

Bird Watching: The park is a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 150 bird species recorded. Early morning is the perfect time for spotting all sorts of different species, from black-capped vireos to golden-cheeked warblers. The park charges an entrance fee, but children under 12 enter for free. Pets are welcome in certain areas, as long as they’re kept on a leash.
